Development Description: The refurbishment and modification of existing buildings (Buildings 2 & 3) which form part of the Jameson Experience. The proposed works to Building 2 will include elevational changes comprising the demolition of an external storage structure, the addition of a single storey extension to the rear, a new entrance porch in the western facade, a new entrance in the eastern facade, alterations to the roof including the replacement and addition of roof lights, modifications to the internal layout and all ancillary site development works. The upgraded heritage centre will consist of a reception area, auditorium, whiskey tasting rooms, bar areas, kitchens, café/restaurant, retail shop including off-trade whiskey sales, it will also include offices, a meeting room, toilets, lounge, storage, staff facilities and plant/services areas. The heritage centre will be a licensed premises. The proposed works to Building 3, a store, will include amendments to the southern elevation. The proposed development consists of the carrying out of works to protected structures.
